  Bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe with low mileage. Decent price for the miles and AWD. Customer service was decent, everyone was pretty friendly. Staff returned my email very promptly.
  
  My trouble started as we were signing the papers. The gentleman who signed off on everything told me, "I'm not telling you to do this, but you might want to keep the old plates on the car with the temporary plate"... which seemed like a weird thing to say at the time and I should have questioned it, googled the laws, etc... That's my responsibility to research the laws, but I've never had a temp plate. Immediately got pulled over and notified that having the two plates on is a misdemeanor. I had tools with me and took the old plate off, avoiding the fine and misdemeanor charge.
  
  More troubles came as the car developed a severe alignment issue a couple months in, then started sputtering, stalling and not turning over. Looked under the hood and the engine cables were literally sparking through exposed wiring. The CV joints needed to be replaced, as well as the CV boots. All the bolts were super rusty (not the dealerships fault) so the labor was lengthy and time consuming. Thankfully the alignment was fixed by just rotating the tires. Overall, the car runs fine now. Honestly what irked me the most was repeatedly being told that the car had gone through extensive inspections, yet there were old cigarettes in the ash tray...
